Happy New Year!
What Are You Looking Forward to in 2026?
I Am Enough
Hey Life Beyond Lupus Subscribers! I just wanted to pop in quickly and write a little something before the year ends!
As 2025 comes to a close (and in the weird “holiday in-between zone” where I have no clue what day it is and catching up on my Netflix watch list), I have made attempts to be in reflective mode. But honestly, I am mentally drained and exhsusted. I just ain't feelin’ it.
However, one thing I am certain of is that in 2026 (no, scratch that — starting now!) I am taking the pressure off of myself to be the ultimate box-checker. My time and energy are precious gifts, and whatever I am able to do in 24 hours is enough.
I am enough.
Perhaps this has been the lesson God has been trying to get through my hard head this entire year — that I am enough and to give everything over to Him.
Philippians 4:19 NKJV
[19] And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
Reflective? Onward and Upward? Or Both?
So what about you? Are you personally in reflection mode? Have you taken the time to conduct a self-inventory for 2025? Are you the pondering type or do you prefer to keep it movin’? Are you one to do a combination of reflection and goal-setting/planning? What are you looking forward to in 2026? I want to hear from you! Be sure to leave a comment and tell us your intentions and strategies. You never know how you can help someone!
Happy New Year!
First, thank you. Thank you for being a subscriber to Life Beyond Lupus. I am so glad you are part of our community, and I hope you're getting to know more about me through my writing.
What I can say that I am looking forward to in 2026 is being a co-facilitator of the Lupus Foundation of America ®️ Alabama Lupus Support Group (Virtual)! Our first meeting takes place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 10 a.m. CST via Zoom. More details to come regarding future meetings, but in the meantime, you may visit https://www.lupus.org/southeast/resources/find-support-near-you.
And finally, I wish each of you a joy-filled, blessed, and prosperous 2026! 🎉
Until next time,
Trindi 💜

Happy New Year Trindi and I hope all is well on your end. I definitely agree that it's important for us to remember we are enough. While it's not always the easiest thing, we gotta stop putting so much pressure on ourselves. It often causes more harm than good.
God bless and take care!
Yesterday at our New Year’s Eve program we had to get into groups and share challenges of the year as well as successes and some other things. Well, as you know I had a lot of challenges. I kind of felt embarrassed because the successes came down to “I am here”. I didn’t have any “big” things to share. But this reminds me that “being here” is enough. Perhaps that is all I was meant to be in this season. I’m here while God is working on healing my heart and spirit. One of the biggest successes is when we just “be still and know that He is God”.
Thank you for this, sis. 💜
